Every day, a real crowd-sourced definition arrives with its key word hidden. Name the word or phrase in four guesses or fewer.
How clues unlock
- Start with the core definition and enter your best guess.
- After one wrong guess, an example sentence appears.
- After two wrong guesses, you see the original submission year.
- After three wrong guesses, the word length and first letter appear.
- Your fourth wrong guess ends the round and reveals the answer.
One new word every day
The answer is checked on the server, so the daily puzzle is the same for everyone. Duplicate guesses do not use a turn, and each completed result can be shared without spoiling the answer.
